Malagash Salt Miners' Museum
The Malagash Salt Miners' Museum is a small, local museum devoted to preserving the history and heritage of the Malagash area and the first salt mine in Canada. We are located at 1926 North Shore Road in Malagash, Nova Scotia -- just down the road from the Jost winery. We have exhibits of various aspects of local history -- mining, farming, labour unions, schooling, and daily life through the community's history. This page was made with the help of a Young Canada Works grant.
